My Fisrt shelter in wadi (the King size bersh)

Ready to go for a hike

The Bersh from outside

The Camp site seen from afar

The stand alone rock

The weird insect

I think it's a combo between grasshopper and something else

My shoe is at the top left of the photo

The stand alone rock from afar

Acacia Tree

The main tent on the left + Camels at the back parked and ready for the trip

The kitchen and the store tents...

The daily trip spot

Hiking around the area in search for possible mountain biking tracks

Weird stone formation

Forget the tracks... breathtaking views

That's on top of a small mountain

Another day of exploration on my Dominator

If you have the urge to just make track lines all over those beautiful sand dunes, that's the biker in you.

This place was just so vast and so flat... would be nice for trike sailing

Cutting more distances

Cutting my way out back to the tarmac

What a funny little tree (the great Acacia)

My Second Shelter (Normal tent)

Bike/hike exploration

My second Shelter (tent)

The only good thing about it was that it had electicity

Went back to Cairo left my motorbike and got back by car with bicycle inside.

My 3rd shelter (a better tent)

Experimenting on me... the owner and i decided to go by car until the 1st and closest water well and leave me there to see if i can return by bike. Was doable but not very pleasant.

Thorns

Weird tree

My 3rd shelter

After taking out the thorns... the nearest city was 50 km away and when i finally arranged with the car there was no bike shop in the whole city of Marsa Alam.

Then I concentrated on other things... there is my office which we put up together. Had a ride on a pickup truck from camp to office which is 7 km on a dirt track everyday. Many times had to ride at the back which was great to be in the open.

Just outside, water boiler for tea and coffee

The office is very near to the sea which has a better weather and also a nice view

The office was not just that. It was a cinema and a museum documenting about the protectorate

The door to my office

Back to the camp 7 km inside the desert and away from the sea and the highway.
Those white tents are composed of 2 office tents, 2 kitchen tents, 1 main tent, museum tent, cinema tent, shelter tents, bathroom tents and staff (that are not Bedouin) tents.

The Bedouins have their own camp which is right next wadi

My 3rd and last shelter tent

A rope was a really good idea to bring

My last day at the camp after a morning jog.

Sometimes random visitors came to my office.
